The Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric truly makes a statement, exuding charisma through Renault’s new design language. With sleek lines and dynamic curves, its lighting seamlessly integrates into the body, creating a truly compelling personality. Displaying the new Nouvel’R logo on the front, the Scenic E-Tech Electric also showcases an array of superimposed small diamonds that appear and disappear depending on the light and angle. These patterns merge into the headlights at the top, creating a spectacular high-tech effect.
Prepare to be amazed by the innovative Solarbay® opacifying panoramic sunroof, which darkens or lightens—partially or fully—on demand. Adjust the light to suit the season, allow your passengers to enjoy the view, and drive in complete comfort, knowing Solarbay® glass features two micro-thin layers for excellent thermal protection.
The streamlined line-up for the Scenic E-Tech Electric now consists of techno, techno esprit Alpine, and iconic esprit Alpine trims, with the latter two inheriting the sporting character from the storied Alpine brand. On esprit Alpine models, the 20-inch wheels are in a class of their own, boasting a distinctive identity with black, diamond-cut, smoky-lacquered faces around grey centres, adding a touch of dynamism, technicality, and finesse. These models also wear Ice Black logos front and rear, gloss black side window trim, and esprit Alpine badging.
Step into an interior of superior comfort and extra elegance. The esprit Alpine body-hugging seats gain six-way electric adjustment as standard with two-way lumbar and massage functions on the driver’s seat. They're upholstered in an embossed titanium black mesh made from recycled materials, finished with striking blue top-stitching – a detail that repeats throughout the cabin on the door panels, centre console, armrest, and seatbelts, while esprit Alpine blue carpets round out the sporting enhancements.
Scenic esprit Alpine models now boast a fantastic face ID feature that automatically selects the appropriate driver profile and seat position, while all Scenic E-Tech Electric models benefit from an improved rear-view camera with enhanced quality.
The Scenic E-Tech Electric now includes One Pedal driving as standard across the range. By optimising regenerative braking, the vehicle decelerates smoothly when the driver releases the accelerator pedal, coming to a stop without the driver having to apply the brake. This delivers a smoother overall driving experience for all occupants and maximises the energy that can be recuperated to extend the driving range while also reducing brake pad wear. For situations where more manual control is preferred, the steering wheel-mounted paddles can be used to adjust the strength of the regenerative braking system.
The Renault OpenR Link multimedia system, powered by Google, offers more than 50 apps from Google Play, including music quizzes, family games, and journey planning, to enhance your car journeys. The infotainment system is accessed through a large 12.3-inch curved touchscreen display that extends from the dashboard to the centre console. The Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric has a cutting-edge journey planner that anticipates the need to warm up the battery's temperature prior to charging stops, optimising charging times and significantly reducing overall travel duration. Drivers can tailor their charging stops based on their preferred power ratings and payment options.
The Scenic E-Tech Electric features a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance and safety systems (ADAS), including a unique tool called Safety Coach. This system analyses driving habits and provides personalised feedback to help drivers improve their driving style and enhance overall safety. The new Active Driver Assist system combines adaptive cruise control, Stop & Go functionality, and lane centring to provide seamless manoeuvring. At low speeds, drivers can manually adjust the lane centring system to position the vehicle towards the side of the road, enabling emergency vehicles to pass safely. Additionally, the smart cruise control system, integrated within Safety Coach, automatically adjusts vehicle speed based on the distance to other vehicles.
The Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric’s powertrain features a compact 87kWh battery and a 220hp motor, capable of delivering an impressive 379-mile range. For long journeys or holidays, take advantage of the Scenic E-Tech Electric’s performance to quickly recover range on the motorway by recharging at a DC rapid charging point.
The Scenic E-Tech electric is now equipped with a new 11 kW charger. The included V2L (vehicle-to-load) adaptor also allows external 230V devices to be powered by energy stored in the car’s battery – anything from a laptop to a coffee machine!
